Skyler Fox to Participate in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County Fore Kids’ Sake Golf Classic

BEAVER COUNTY, PA (May 23, 2016) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County (BCBIGS) and The Park Inn By Radisson/RBG, Beaver Falls are bringing Skyler Fox to the 2016 Fore Kid’s Sake Golf Classic. Skyler’s participation at this year’s Golf Classic is a great example of the notion, kids helping kids, a concept that BCBIGS believes can have a powerful impact on the kids they serve.

image002Skyler Fox is a thirteen year-old from Riverside School District in Beaver County. He recently wowed the nation with his incredible performance at Augusta National by winning the chip and putt categories and finishing second in his age group in the skill competition. In his journey to Augusta, Skyler advanced through three stages of qualifiers. The first was at Quicksilver Golf Club in Midway, then Aronimink Golf Club near Philadelphia and the last at Oakmont Country Club for the regional finals. He was two strokes short of competing in the U.S. Open.

On Friday, June 10th, Skyler will be on site at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County Fore Kid’s Sake Golf Classic at the Club at Shadow Lakes.

Skyler Fox will be stationed at Hole Number 9, sponsored by the Park Inn by Radisson Beaver Falls and RBG Bar & Grill, where he will donate his incredible ability by taking a guest shots for participants. Golfers will have the chance to stay under par by donating $10 and allowing Skyler Fox to take their putt. Skyler’s support will help raise money for the LITTLES of Beaver County.

The 2016 Fore Kids’ Sake Golf Classic is Friday, June 10th at the Club at Shadow Lakes in Aliquippa. The 18-hole scramble begins 8:30. For more information visit www.bcbigs.org.
