Day of Caring Volunteer Registration
The United Way of Beaver County Day of Caring is one of the most special days of the year and we want you to be a part of it!
We know that employees are at a premium for businesses of all sizes, including our local non-profit agencies! Staff shortages in these agencies mean that many projects around their facilities have been neglected, as they have used their staff and resources instead to serve those in need. Many of these agencies need help with things such as painting, cleaning, landscaping, and small repairs. Others may need help with administrative projects such as preparing mailings or organizing. And others still may look forward to having assistance with entertaining or visiting with their clients.
The 2026 Day of Caring is set for Wednesday, September 23rd. We urge you to endorse this special day personally, as well as to recruit and join your friends, family members, and co-workers as volunteers in this unique response to community needs. The Day of Caring is one more way to Live United. It helps to improve the quality of life for people served. It educates volunteers with a first-hand understanding of the needs of their community and how volunteering can address those needs.
Our goal is to exceed 100 volunteers who will be working hard and having fun to assist the Beaver County non-profit community. So many past volunteers have said that this experience was educational and rewarding, and they are eager to participate again! Will you join them in helping others?
The Day of Caring works as follows: You arrive at your designated agency site at 8:30 a.m. to receive a brief overview of the agency and the services they provide. After this overview, a detailed description of the tasks for the day will be provided. The agency will assign a staff coordinator to assist all volunteers and to answer any questions. The agency will provide lunch for the volunteers.
To join us in this community event, please submit the form below no later than Monday, August 3rd to enable us to match our volunteers to the agencies who have requested assistance.
