big brothers big sisters BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF BEAVER COUNTY

Ongoing Opportunities: Big Brothers and Big Sisters needed. Play sports together. Enjoy a quiet walk or go hiking at Brush Creek Park. Maybe go boating or fishing at Raccoon State Park. Set out on a quest to discover who makes the best steak salad or ice cream sundae in the county! Attend agency-sponsored activities offered at no cost such as the Christmas party, the Summer Bash or STEAM events. Whatever the activity, your friendship and time with your Little will have a life-changing impact.

Volunteering just a few hours a month with a child can start something amazing. So why not apply to be a Big today? There are kids out there ready to get started.

Matches between Bigs and Littles are made based on compatibility, shared interests, geographic convenience and are supported by staff.

Volunteers in our community mentoring program must meet the following requirements:

  • 18 years old and older
  • Have a valid driver’s license & access to insured, reliable transportation
  • Reside in Beaver County or nearby
  • Complete an application which includes references, police check, clearances, orientation, and interview.
