Beaver Valley Chapter of Credit Unions’ Golf Outing - August 14, 2026
Times:
- Registration begins at 8 a.m.
- Shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Cost:
- $125 per player
- Includes greens fee, cart, buffet dinner, prizes
- $40 Buffet dinner only
Team prizes will be awarded based on flights established the day of the outing in order to provide equal opportunity for everyone.

Day of Caring - September 23, 2026
The Day of Caring is a community-wide volunteer event organized by the United Way of Beaver County, and also in various regions around the country. It brings together volunteers from local businesses, organizations, and the community to support nonprofit and public organizations by completing short-term, project-focused volunteer services. The purpose of the Day of Caring is to
- Provide vital support to non-profit organizations by addressing their needs through volunteer efforts.
- Raise awareness of community needs and services.
- Allow community members and contributors to see the tangible impact of their support and donations.
- Foster a spirit of volunteerism and civic engagement within the community.
YOU can help by volunteering with us and be assigned to a local non-profit in need of your help with tasks that may include beautification and maintenance, organization and support or hands-on work.

Kick-Off Breakfast - September 30, 2026
This annual event is more than a celebration—it’s the moment we come together to launch another year of changing lives in our community. It is the formal launch of our 2026/2027 Campaign: Live Here. Work Here. Give Here. Stays Here.
The need in Beaver County is great: 39% of households live below the ALICE Threshold—families working hard but still struggling to afford life’s basic necessities. Your support for the United Way ensures that we can meet these urgent needs, both through our own programs and by strengthening the network of nonprofits that serve our neighbors every day.
In the past year, to help meet these needs:
- We provided over $500,000 in funding to non-profits in our community serving children, youth, adults, and seniors in need.
- When SNAP Cuts hit Beaver County families, we raised and distributed more than $64,000 in a two-week time period to local food pantries so that no family would go hungry.
- United Works – our workforce development program, in collaboration with Job Training for Beaver County, is designed to provide financial assistance so that ALICE households can access training and opportunities that will help them achieve financial stability. We have already helped 11 individuals change their lives for the better.
These efforts are only possible because of caring, committed people like you. When you attend our campaign Kick-Off Breakfast, you will hear inspiring stories of impact, learn how your involvement directly changes lives, and discover how we can work together to create lasting change in Beaver County.
